Remember, I am available for tutoring/extra help Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays during enrichment. I am also in my room from 7:30-7:55 Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
However, if I don’t know you’re coming, I might not be in my room. Please let me know if you are coming to see me for help ahead of time. If I don’t have any students coming to me, then I use that time to do other things.

NEW BOOKS IN THE CLASSROOM LIBRARY!!!

December14

We have a LOT of new books in the classroom library! All of them were donated were by students who didn’t needs them at home anymore or purchased by students/donors at the book fair.

If you love Diary of a Wimpy Kid, I have almost all of them now!

If you love realistic war stories, I have all of the books written by Alan Gratz that the book fair had to offer.

There are lots of other choices as well! I will have these titles at the front of the room the rest of this week so we can find them easily.

Book Fair

December10

The book fair is off to a great start and will remain open until Thursday, December 17.
To learn more about how to use the eWallet or make donations keep reading!
If you would like a secure, cashless way to provide your student with fair money, create an eWallet for them. The following link will take you directly to our school’s eWallet set up. (The link worked best for me on my computer than it did on my mobile device.) https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/…/cptoo…/homepage.do…
Put your child’s name on it, set the amount of money, and all the information goes straight to my register making it super simple for your kids.
If any community members or businesses are interested in donating to a student, teacher, or the library, you can use the same link above! When asked for a name, you can specify which student or teacher, or just name it, “student,” “teacher,” or “library.”
This fair is a fantastic fundraiser that gets kids excited about reading, and it also allows our school to purchase a variety of high-interest books for all of our middle schoolers to enjoy. Thank you for supporting WOMS!

Shop the book fair Dec. 7-17

December7

The 2020 book fair will run from December 7-17th. We’re shopping/browsing the book fair today during class, and students will be allowed to go during class as long as the book fair is open.

Parents, you can set up an e-wallet for your student to shop the fair or send cash. Students cannot use a debit/credit card unless it has their name on it.

You can also shop entirely online at scholastic.com/fair. Just search for our school.

To shop online, or set up an e-wallet, you can follow this link.

This is my classroom wish list. If your child would like to gift a book to the classroom library, Mrs. Kelley will have them in a basket behind her register to purchase.
